Rattlesnake claims life of Georgia hunter

This is the second such incident this year as a hunting trip turns deadly for a 68 year old man, who was hunting with his grandson. He was bitten by a rattlesnake as he descended a tree stand. 
 
Dick Rupert’s 12 year old grandson tried to perform CPR; but he was in full cardiac arrest when the paramedics arrived. He died within an hour after arriving at Wills Memorial Hospital in Washington, Georgia.
 
A second man, 65 years old, from Dothan died in September after a rattlesnake bit him in the neck. Dick Rupert was from Winder and was hunting in Oglethorpe, Georgia
