Live Earth India was to take place in Mumbai but after terror attacks caused the death of 200 people and hundreds of others to be inured organizers including former Vice-President Al Gore decided to cancel the December 7 concert that was to feature stars Bon Jove, Roger Waters, and will.i.am. The statement that was issued stated that "due to circumstances beyond our control" the concert that was to help raise global warming awareness has been canceled.
Last year the initial Live Earth concert coved all seven continents and was viewed by billions of people around the world.
