In 2007 former Vice-President Al Gore launched a campaign for awareness of Global Warming.  As a part of the awareness program a massive nine city seven continent concert was held called Live Earth.  This year the Live Earth concert will again be held but this time it is in only one city - Mumbai, India.

The all star line up for the December 7 concert includes international and Indian stars.  Along with Grammy winners Bon Jovi, former Pink Floyd member Roger Waters, and will.i.am are Indian stars spokesperson and actor Amitabh Bachchan, Anoushka Shankar, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Shiamak Davar, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Hard Kaur, Jalebee Cartel, Vishal & Shekhar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sonu Nigam and Shaan.
