Police frontman and superstar rocker Sing has decided that he will retire from acting.  The reason the rocker gave for his actions was, "It's too much hard work.".  Over the past 20 plus years Sting has appeared in numerous television shows and movies from "The Simpsons" to "Dune" and "The Bride".  His last movie was a voice over for one of the characters in "The Bee Movie".

Sting born Gordon Mathew Sumner in Newcastle first came on the music scene and the lead singer and bass player for the rock band The Police.  He later made a name for himself with a successful solo career.  Most recently he again re-united with his Police bandmates Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland for a reunion tour which consistanly played before sold out crowds.

Sting got his name from his early days as a musician when he showed up one day wearing a yellow and black striped sweater.
