"Circus" Take That

Despite a major delivery snafu that prevented a number of retailers from receiving their new album "Circus", English pop boy band Take That had the biggest sales in albums on the first day of release.  Selling 133.000 copies Take That's "Circus" topped Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" which sold 125.000 copies on the first days of release.  According to the BBC the sales will put Take That at the top of the charts when the new listing comes out on Sunday.

In the United Kingdom artists can receive a gold album award with 100,000 albums sold and a platinum awards with 300,000 albums sold.

US pop princess Britney Spears tried to force the English pop band to change the name of their album when she discovered that the album titles were the same.  The boys of Take That refused.
