
Billboard Magazine has released the list of the top grossing concerts for the year. The tally runs from November of 2007 to November 2008 so any concert tour that is still ongoing will have incomplete number for the entire tour.
The numbers are for the gross receipts which means it is not the amount made by the band or musician. These are number before all the bills are paid.
Bon Jovi has the number one spot with their Lost Highway tour grossing $210.6 million.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and his Magic tour came in second with $204.5 million.

The number three spot is held by Madonna with her Sticky & Sweet tour at $162 million. The tour is still in progress.

The number four spot is held by The Police from the second leg of their one time reunion tour which grossed $150 million.

French Canadian Celine Dion took the number five spot with $91 million.

Country star Kenny Chesney has the number six spot with $86 million in gross concert receipts.
