As the year comes to an end an endliess stream of best of lists appear everywhere. This year Billboard Magazine has joined in on the list making a bit early. Two thousand eight marks the fiftieth anniversary of Billboard Magazine's Top Charts marking the week's singles and albums by sales. As a part of the celebration Billboard has created a series of top100 lists among them the best selling artists over the past 50 years. Some of the best selling artists of all time may be missing from the list or farther down than believed simply because much of their success happened prior to the inseption of the Billboard charts.
There may be some big surprises, especially to those in the under 21 catagory.
