On Saturday while wandering the trails of Bell's Neck wood a woman came upon a piano sitting in the woods as if waiting to be played.  The spinet style piano from Baldwin was not some old instrument in disrepair but an near perfect condition complete with its bench.  Harwich, Massachusetts police are at a loss as to how the piano ended up in the woods or to whom it belongs.  The instrument is now awaiting its owner at the Harwich Police garage.

While there are no explanations as to what the piano is doing in the woods, there is no shortage of speculations as for the reason including a "Twilight" fan who may have found symmetry in the names of lead character Bella and the name of the woods Bell's Neck.  The two lead characters in the movie play a piano found in an abandoned house in the woods.  A piano is not a light instrument, it takes a number of people and careful handling to move the instrument.  Placing the piano in the woods took great care and planning to accomplish.
