The day after Thanksgiving - Black Friday - marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season.  Shoppers are looking for bargains.  Fans of Christmas music will find a great bargain via the internet with two free music downloads.

Girls aren't the only ones who want to have fun.  In a very unlikely collaboration American eighties pop star Cyndi Lauper and the Swedish garage band The Hives have joined forces for "A Christmas Duel".  The song is being offered as a free download on The Hives website on November 28.

One of the top selling female artists in country music Trisha Yearwood has teamed up with Sears as a part of their Heroes at Home program to offer a free download of the Rogers and Hammerstein song "My Favorite Things".  The song is a part of the musical "The Sound of Music" but has been popping up on holiday albums as a new holiday classic in recent years.  The song is available now via the Sears website.  Visitors to the site will also learn how they can help military families during the holidays.
