BERKELEY, CA -- City officials and Muslim leaders are in talks to bring the first fully accredited Islamic University in the nation to Berkeley.

Zaytuna College, a school located in downtown Berkeley is looking to become a accredited four-year institution after it recently graduated it's first class of five students this last year.

Zaytuna could open it's doors as a fully accredited institution as early as fall 2010.
