The Tampa Bay community has pulled resources together to help the children of Audrey Mabrey, the woman from Apollo Beach whose husband threw lighter fluid at her and set her on fire. Audrey Mabrey attended the Hillsborough Community College and donations have been accepted at the South Shore campus.
Audrey Mabrey was burned over 80% of her body during a domestic violent incident last Tuesday. Her estranged husband, Christopher Hanney has been arrested and faces charges of first degree attempted murder. Christopher Hanney is currently in the Orient Road Jail.
If you would like to donate clothes or toys for Audrey Mabrey’s two young sons, you can make the donations at the college campus located at 5521 24th Street NE in Ruskin, Florida. They are asking for clothes in sizes 4T-5T and 18-24 months. Donations of diapers in size 3 and age appropriate gifts are being accepted. If you would like to donate cash you can make your contributions at Bank of America in care of Audrey Mabrey and children fund.
