Let’s begin with the fact that there will always be a Grady. Why? Because Atlanta needs a Grady. Let’s get even more radical and suggest that people who go to Grady receive the best care. Let a state legislator’s son break his head open in a car wreck, and I’m betting that member will change his or her story very quickly.
Forget about Obama’s so-called “death panels.” There’s one alive and well in Atlanta already.
I understand why the new leadership wants to cut costs, but the dialysis clinic? We’re arguing over the dialysis clinic?
Of all of the chapters and verses spoken about Grady over the last two or three years, the idea of shutting down the dialysis clinic there is by far the most malevolent. Now, we’ve had to hear from a judge so that people will do the right thing. I wonder what it’s been like for the folks who rely on the clinic. Can you imagine the fear surrounding them as toxins build in their bodies everyday.
