Fighting back tears, Brooke Shields told of her friendship with Michael Jackson, at his memorial today. She said that the two met when she was thirteen years old. He could always count on her to be a friend or a date if he needed one. She spoke of the fun the two of them had as guests at one of Elizabeth Taylor's weddings. When he started wearing one glove, she joked that she said to him, "What's up with the glove?" Then she told him that if he was going to hold her hand, it had better be with the ungloved hand because sequins hurt.
