Neither Jackson or Rowe were the biological parents of the two children that Rowe bore in their marriage, for Michael, according to a report by TMZ. The report states that the eggs and sperm used to conceive the two children, Michael, Jr., and Paris, were donor eggs and donor sperm. The fertility method was an in vitro fertilization, meaning that the egg and sperm were mixed in a petri dish where conception occured. Rowe was the surrogate mother who carried the implanted, conceived embryos to two full term births.
The report also states that in the case of Jackson's third child, born to an unnamed surrogate, not Rowe, the surrogate mother was never told who the parent of the child she was carrying would be. Jackson's attorney picked up the child after it was born at a San Diego hospital and delivered it to Jackson.
Prior reports stated Rowe was the source of the eggs for both of the children she carried and bore during her marriage to Jackson. This new report by TMZ refutes that.
