On May 7th, it's more patriotic to
think than to pray.

Yes, I know what you're thinking.  May 7th is actually the National Day of Prayer, and it's not clear if President Obama will sit this one out.  Well, that's true, but while the ill-informed masses reinforce in their minds the incorrect notion that this is a Christian Nation, rationalists across the country will hold counter-observances calling for reason and a renewed commitment to separation of church and state. 

The National Day of Reason celebrates its sixth year (the National Day of Prayer has been around for 58), but it's growing.  Even if there's nothing going on locally, you can still celebrate by sharing your opinions with friends and associates. 

If anyone complains, you can always point them to Isaiah 1:18.
