Author. Politician. Scientist. Inventor. Diplomat. It's easy to understand why Benjamin Franklin continues to captivate fans of American history. The founding father is the subject of a one-man show running through Nov. 22nd at Portland Center Stage.

Written and performed by Franklin look-alike Josh Kornbluth, "Ben Franklin: Unplugged" runs about 90 minutes with one intermission. The audience gets plenty of history and entertainment, as Kornbluth plays multiple characters and dresses in full Franklin garb for the second act.

Tickets start at $24. For more information, visit www.pcs.org
