What better way to teach our children about environmental stewardship than to show them the importance of keeping our immediate environment clean? The Chesapeake Bay Foundation celebrates their 20th "Clean the Bay Day" this Saturday, June 6th from 9AM to 12 Noon.
For information on volunteering, the CBF has compiled a web page that will answer most of your questions.
Last year was a record-breaking year, "7,020 volunteers removed 120 tons of debris from 434 miles of waterways" according to the CBF website.
