Fish swimming in Bay Area by Veronica Cassell
Every person who has ever had the dream of sitting around and catching that illusive fish, the 4th of July is your day.  This Saturday, as part of a state sanctioned fishing day, fishing is allowed by anyone in California, license or not, permitted the proper fishing regulations and requirements are followed.
A way to experience the entire fishing process without the commitment of a license, novice fishermen can learn whether fishing is a hobby, sport, or way of living for them.
So, for those fishermen at heart, get a fishing pole from a friend or find one to buy, and head out to the multitude of fishing spots in the Bay Area for some fish of your own.  Take advantage of the 4th of July free fishing day, fish the day away in the Bay Area, and then watch the fireworks.

For more info: Check-out the Fish and Game website for California for details regarding this free day of fishing.
