Catching crab is popular among fishermen in the Bay Area. And many times, when seeing the multitude of people crowding the piers around the Bay Area in their quest to attain crab from the Bay, it makes you want to join in and try it.
For those seeking to try their hand at crab catching, guidance is invaluable. Therefore, throughout the summer, Fort Point will be hosting crabbing tutorials for those interested. With explanations of crab regulations, details about the crab in the Bay Area, and even a hands-on guide as to how to successfully catch crab, this 2 hour event shares the tricks and truths of crab catching.
A great way to learn about the crab in the San Francisco Bay, as well as the different methods to catch them, this reservation required guide to crab should definitely be an informative experience. From 10 am to noon every other Saturday this summer, Fort Point pier should be a great spot to check-out.
