On Wednesday, July 15th, several restaurants in the Culver City area will be participating in Dine Out for the Cure, to support the ongoing fight against breast cancer. 10% of the gross profits will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, to provide the medically underserved and uninsured populations in the LA County with screening, diagnostics and treatment for breast cancer.
All throughout the day, several restaurants throughout Los Angeles will participate, including Ford’s Filling Station, and Rush, both located in Culver City.
“Breast cancer awareness and prevention education is a cause close to my heart,” said Chef Ben Ford, Proprietor and Executive Chef of Ford’s Filling Station. “I admire the work the Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County Affiliate has done in making strides to find a cure for this all-too-common disease, and I am thrilled to be able to have my restaurant and craft contribute toward this.”
In addition to Ford’s Filling Station, Rush Street, besides donating proceeds from its lunch and dinner service, will be holding a reception in its lounge with a special “Pretty in Pink” cocktail;
