Jon and Kate are both having affairs. Care of their eight kids is increasingly falling into the hands of others. With all the publicity from their TV show, everybody wants to be part of this cute couple and their darling kids. They have more babysitters than they could ever use.
Is this a bad thing? Is it un-American? Should we be concerned? I think not. They are adults making choices for themselves and their dependent children. They have not broken any laws. They're just doing what most of us do.
We get tired of the same old routine, and we get tired of being tired. We want to be energized, and nothing does that like a lover who pays full attention to us – especially when our spouse is constantly busy with kids, work, volunteering, etc.
So, Jon and Kate went out looking for love. Actually, people probably sought them out to offer anything they wanted. After all, they are celebrities, and those kinds of perks go along with the status.
They're normal, and I suggest that we all leave them alone to live their lives as they see fit while we continue watching their lives unfold on TV. An affair or two is normal in today's marriages. Such behavior keeps people vibrant and happy, which is something you need to be if you have eight small children.
Their affairs might even generate enough passion to keep their marriage together. In today's society, anything is possible. What do you think? Write a comment. I read them all.
May we all live lives of bliss, passion and contribution during these often trying times.
