Saleh Kazemi murdered Steve McNair

on Saturday. Found under her body.
It's now official that Sahel Kazemi girlfriend of former NFL star Steve McNair shot him in his right temple while he was asleep then fired three more shots at close range. She then sat on the couch next to his body, and killed herself so that she would fall into his lap.
Friends say that the 20 year-old Kazemi was upset because he believed McNair was going to leave her for another woman. Someone younger? Perhaps his wife? We'll never know. The incident is now officially a murder-suicide, something that I wrote when it first happened as the gun was found underneath her body.
Much is known about the NFL superstar, but many questions remain unanswered. McNair was married. He was not seperated and had not filed for divorce from his wife Mechele. Yet, friends of Kazemi said that he told her he was leaving his wife for her. Haven't we seen this story lately with a few governors and other politicians? At least those men got out before it was too late. Not so for McNair.
He was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds. Kazemi was also found dead at the Nashville, Tennessee condo McNair was said to be sharing with another man. McNair took two bullets in the chest and two in the head. Kazemi was found with a single shot to the head.
McNair was 36 and played 13 seasons before retiring in April 2008. He was married to Mechelle McNair. and they have four sons. A police spokesman said authorities were still investigating the shootings and questioning everyone with any possible involvement or motive.
Police officers responded at the scene after receiving a call about injured persons inside the condo. When they arrived at the site, they found McNair and Kazemi shot to death inside the residence.
In June, McNair opened a restaurant near the Tennessee State University campus. It was closed Saturday evening, but it had become a memorial, with flowers, candles and notes placed outside the door.
May Steve McNair and all who have recently passed on find true peace have a smooth transition to whatever is next for them. And may we all appreciate the life we have, knowing that it is impermanent and can end in an instant.r
