“Passport to Flagstaff” kicks off today (Thursday July 9) and runs thru Sunday July 12.

During the event you can get discounts at over 80 Flagstaff businesses all by flashing a FREE (download HERE) paper "passport" at those businesses.

Flagstaff has many great restaurants to check out that are participating in the event. Among the ones I recommend checking out:

For a great breakfast - Brandy's, who were recently featured on The Food Network. Watch that story HERE. Passport discount: 10% off everything (except alcoholic beverages).

For a "green" lunch or dinner and some of the best fries in town - Diablo Burger Passport discount: Beer, wine & soda - 50% off when you order a burger.

Looking for a good old fashioned milkshake? Try Downtown Diner. Passport discount: Free coffee or soft drink with purchase of a meal.

If you're in the mood for pizza and want a great deal (2 slices & a soda for $6) -  Fratelli Pizza Passport discount: 20% off any size specialty pizza.

Want a quick lunch on the go while you drive out the grand canyon or up to the mountain top to ride the sky ride (which is 25% off with the Passport to Flagstaff) and take in the views, try a freshly grilled on the street hot dog from Mountain Top Dogs. Passport discount: Buy one Hot Dog, the the 2nd for Free.

Best Asian food in town - the Japanese steak house Sakura Passport discount: 20% excluding alcohol, tax & gratuity.

Find out more about other restaurant and hotel discounts in town during the event HERE.

You can find a complete list of all the discounts being offered HERE. “Passport to Flagstaff” is sponsored by Arizona Highways Magazine, the Flagstaff Downtown Business Alliance and the Convention & Visitors Bureau.
