Mesa Arts Center hosts the third annual Dia de los Muertos Festival in conjunction with the Consulate General of Mexico in Phoenix, Friends of Mexican Art, and the Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens. Dia de Los Muertos is a community celebration honoring the memory of departed loved ones. The free event is complete with a community altar, live music and performances, food, and a Mercado featuring an assortment of Day of the Dead merchandise, jewelry, arts and crafts, children’s activities, entertainment, and more.
Golfland will evolve into a chilling site for Halloween thrill seekers featuring the The Gauntlet Haunted House. For those too squeamish for The Gauntlet, visit Spooktacular Golf, our 18-hole miniature golf course that has undergone a not so terrifying transformation. On Thursdays and Sundays in October, donate canned food items and receive $1 off for every can, up to two cans ($2 off), on admission to Spooktacular Golf or the Unlimited Fear and Fun Package.
Every year Schnepf Farms has a corn maze, pumpkin patch, rides, and more! They've been voted as one of the "Top Five" Pumpkin Farms in the Southwest by Sunset Magazine. Admission is $14.00 per person at gate or discount tickets for $12.00 can be purchased at ANY FRY'S. Children 2 and under are FREE! Wear a costume on Friday or Saturday and get in for 1/2 price. You can also find more discounts HERE. On October 30th & 31st ONLY they also have an additional fee event: a hay ride thru the orchards and dark skies that drops you at "the cornfield." It's pretty scary so it is NOT recommended for children 10 and younger. Guest enjoying the Pumpkin & Chili Party on the 30th or 31th, can enjoy the cornfield for $5.00 extra or you can get in for $10 a person of 2 people for $15.
