"The happiest people DO NOT necessarily have the 'best' things. They simply appreciate the things they have." - Warren Buffet
I was very intrigued to read a bit about the second richest man in the world's perspective on life. He believes that you should acquire and use only what you really need, to live simply, be yourself, and enjoy what you do. Married over 50 years, he lives in the first house he ever bought, at age 14.
-Of course he was wise in his investments, starting at age 11, hiring the right people to run his companies and giving them full reign to be themselves and enjoy their work. I would guess inspiration entered the equation, as a man with this philosophy is undoubtedly one of the happiest on the planet...consider that he simply gave away 31 billion to charity!
What a world we would live in if everyone took a lesson on simplicity and the natural resultant conservation?.
