Kansas celebrates after winning the 2008 NCAA National Championship.

It's the first Saturday without DI football since August and the day feels so empty, like waking up the day after your birthday with a killer head ache and your best friend's sister snoring next to you.

College basketball will save you. Let Dick Vitale's passion wash over you. Let Jay Bilas' logic take you away to that special place. Let Doug Gottlieb's impishness touch you like a fraudulent leprechaun.

Yes, baby, it's time to dedicate yourself completely to college basketball. And just in case you've been too busy watching college football to follow basketball, here's a quick refresher course to get up to date.

It's all ball-bearings nowadays, fellas.
