There are three artists Open Studios happening in late September, one each in the South End of Boston, Jamaica Plan and Lowell.
The South End Open Studios are being held on September 19-20, from 11am-6pm, in the South End of Boston, MA. "South End Open Studios is your chance to meet over 250 artists working in their own studios and in a variety of group environments. Visitors can either follow the map and walk from building to building, or they can take advantage of the free shuttle buses." A map is available here.
Jamaica Plain Open Studios are September 26-27, from 11am-6pm, in Jamaica Plain, MA. "JPOS takes place in artists' homes and studios as well as group sites and businesses throughout Jamaica Plain." A map is available here.
Lowell Open Studios are September 26-27, 11am-5pm, in Lowell, MA. "This year’s event features more than 140 artists who live and work in this renaissance city; including fiber artists, painters, multi-media artists, sculptors, potters, jewelers, filmmakers, photographers, and more."
