On Sunday, Alan Colmes’ wrote that Sarah Palin’s new baby has Down Syndrome because she neglected proper pre-natal care.

That is, until even other liberals smacked him around for it. Now the post has magically disappeared from Colmes’ website.

He’s trying to defend himself, but it isn’t working.

Not before some memorable comments around the web  in Palin’s defence:

"Scratch Alan Colmes and you’ll find a man whose mother drank when she was pregnant…"

"Who knew he was an Ob/Gyn…?"

Proving once again that the Right corners the market on smart people in general, and gallant men in particular.

Take note, liberal women. We give you the VP spot on the ticket while your men make ignorant, arrogant remarks.

You’d almost think they didn’t believe “pregnant women should control their own bodies,” hmmm?

Methinks Sean Hannity might be rolling up his sleeves for another on-air smack down.
