On Tuesday night, September 15th, Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur held an awesome bärtending competition at a secret speakeasy in Manhattan. The bar, located at 643 Broadway in NoHo, required a knock on a hidden door and password to enter which was sent out a week before the event. The bar was buzzing with nearly 100 people, media and bartenders, who came to witness the competition for the best cocktail made with Bärenjäger.
Six of the city’s finest bartenders competed, including Jonathan Pogash, Kevin Diedrich, Meaghan Dorman, Gerry Corcoran, Neil Grosscup and Bradley Farran. The five spectacular judges included Allen Katz, Gary Regan, Julie Reiner, Jack Robertiello and Aisha Sharpe. The categories that the judges awarded on were taste, appearance, creativity and overall delivery.
And the winner was… Kevin Diedrich with his cocktail, The Bottom Line!
