Earlier this week, Dr. Christopher Thompson was convicted ot assaulting two cyclists with his car as detailed by Jamie Felrath, the Columbus Alternative Transportation Examiner.  Thompson may face as much as ten years at sentencing.

Only a day later, there's this.  Watch it all the way through because there are two cameras:

Jeff Frings has met with mixed results when using his two video cameras to document dangerous maneuvers by overtaking motorists.  This driver in New Berlin, Wisconsin, deliberately forced Frings off the road.  Like Thompson, he used his vehicle as a weapon.  Had he taken a swing with a baseball bat, there would be no doubt of his intention to injure or intimidate.  In this instance, a car is simply a bigger bat.

Jeff Frings will be updating this on the BikeSafer blog.
