I’m sorry to say, but Victoria has the wrong secret. While many of the Victoria’s Secret Angels are hot (especially Adriana Lima). They’re only hot to me…and millions of other guys; but not everyone!

A few years ago, my boss and I were sitting around looking at the most recent Victoria’s Secret Catalogue (I used to be in the music industry and this is we got things done).  After a while, a producer walks in and takes note of the catalogue, remarking “I can’t mess with those girls. They’re too skinny!”  The point here is that my idea of a perfect woman may not be another guy’s idea of perfect a perfect woman. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
That being said, you’ve got to know your man!  Read his signs. I always say, “he’ll tell you what he’s thinking, you just have to listen closely.”  My wife told me the other day that she had put on a few pounds since we tied the knot last year. I responded that I honestly hadn’t noticed. And that’s the truth!  Look, I have a “comfort zone” just like everyone else, but she hasn’t crossed it yet. She hasn’t even approached it. So by not noticing her few extra pounds, I was subconsciously saying that I’m fine with it.
Now, if you have the type of husband or boyfriend that makes a snide remark about your jeans on the same day that you realized that you’re no longer a size six, you’ve got a completely different type of guy on your hands. His remark, be it funny or cruel, is his way of saying that he noticed, he really noticed.
Let’s be honest, no reasonable man expects your butt, breasts and belly to be as tight as it was at 21. But chances are that he does have an undefined point in his mind in which he thinks you’re too big. It sounds harsh to say, but it’s the truth. And why shouldn’t it be? We all want our better half to be sexy, just like every woman wants to be desirable. It’s only natural.
But remember, no one has the right to ridicule a spouse or lover regardless of how he may feel about her weight. Because when it comes down to it, love may not stop a guy from being a little less physically attracted to a woman, but it sure as heck should keep him from treating her badly.
Here are a few signs that he may have a problem with your weight:
1.       He’s hounding you to workout (hopefully with him)
2.       He makes remarks about your eating habits
3.       He shows a diminished sexual appetite (there could be thousands of causes for this one).
