Mario Chalmers gets offensive with Josh Howard in Dallas.

See Part I of my fantasy rant here.

Mavs come back to pin Gut-Wrenching Loss on Heat, deep in the heart of Texas...Dallas got lucky winning their 10th straight regular season game over the Heat...they'd rather not discuss the four straight losses in championship games...Dirk had 30 and 6, Josh Howard delivered 20 and 8, and Jason Kidd dished 11 assists and played rock-hard defense on Dwyane Wade...Jason Terry had 13 points off of 14 shots, and Brandon Bass notched 10 and 8 in 22 productive minutes...Wade led the Heat with 23 and 6 assists, Mario Chalmers netted 18, 6 and 5, and Michael Beasley had his usual 17 off the bench...designated gunner Daequan Cook had three treys on his way to 13 points, and Jermaine contributed 12 and 7 for Miami...the game turned on one of those block/charge calls late, with the blocking Howard getting the call over the charging Chalmers...sucks being you, Mario.

Suns shade Rockets in Phoenix...all five Suns starters reached double figures, led by Steve Nash with 25 points, 17 assists and one turnover, Grant Hill with 23, and Shaq with 22 and 10...J Rich provided 18 and 5, and Matt Barnes had 16 and 9, including two late free throws that iced it... RonRon led Houston with 28 and not much else, Chairman Yao had 20 and 14, and Shane Battier had a week with 18 and 6...Von Wafer scored 17 off the bench...Houston went 11-for-14 from the stripe, while Phoenix was clanging 15-of-35, almost negating the patently unfair home court advantage in the NBA...Phoenix is still on the outside looking in, playoff-wise, while Houston has slipped in the squeaky-tight standings in the West.

Warriors offensively edge Kings in OT in Oakland...these two train wrecks combined for 284 points, 199 shots, 94 free throws, and 59 personals...sounds like fun, but the fans were leaving the arena before the overtime...Monta Ellis went off for the Warriors with 42, 9 and 9, and Kalenna Azubuike delivered 27 and 13...Anthony Randolph had a 17 and 10 doubler, Jamal Crawford and Anthony Morrow scored 15 apiece, and Ronny Turiaf finished with 12 and 13...King Kevin Martin scored 50 in a Heroic, But Ultimately Futile Effort...Francisco Garcia scored 22, Beno "Desperately Needs A Nickname" Udrih had 18, 6 and 9, and Jason Thompson pulled down 19 rebounds to go with 14 points...Rashad McCants scored 14, Andres Nocioni had 12, and that was about it for Sacramento...!!!...Martin went 23-for-26 from the stripe, while Ellis was 10-for-12...shades of the old ABA.

Hornets stiff Clippers in Los Angeles...I'm worn out...Chris Paul led five Hornets in double figures with 30 points, 14 assists and 6 steals...from there, it was David West with 19, Julian Wright with 18 and 9, Casual Rasual with 12 and Devin Brown--yes, that Devin Brown--with 10 points...Here Comes Trouble led the Clips with 24 and 14, Eric Gordon contributed 25 points, Baron Davis notched 13 and 12 assists, Chris Kaman managed 12 and 10, and Fred Jones, The Guard Of Last Resort, scored 10...there.
