Lakers come back on Cavs in Cleveland--LeBron's first loss at home...tsk tsk...Lamar Odom goes for 28 and 17; Big Brother 18, 12 and 6; Kobe 19 points; LeBron gets 16, 8 and 12 on 5-for-20 shooting; Z-Man, looking very weird, gets 22 and 9, Mo Money nets 19, and Szczerbiak scores 16. The Lakers trade Vlad the Impaler to Charlotte for Adam Morrison? Tell me I'm dreaming.
Heat edge Bobcats in Miami---Snow White gets 22, 4 and 4, with 4 steals and 6 stitches, courtesy of Juwan Howard; Chalmers doubles up with 16 and 13 dimes; designated gunner Daequan Cook goes for 16 on 4-of-7 from the arc; Haslem nets 14 and 8; D.J. Augustin busts loose for 27 and 6 assists; Howard scores 14; Diaw and Okafor manage 10 apiece, and Felton scores 9 with 11 assists.
Magic thump Nets in Orlando--Superman goes for 30 and 16; Pietrus adds 17; Hedo has 15 and 8, and Rashard scores 14; Devin Harris goes for 28, 5 and 12 minus Carter; The Good Twin shows off with 19 and 12, and Jarvis "Who?" Hayes scores 13.
Blazers pin gut-wrencher on Knicks in Portland--Brandon Roy goes for 19 and 8 dimes, plus the game-winner; Travis Outlaw bags 23, Greg Oden blows up with 17 and 12, and Aldridge gets 16 and 7; Lunchbucket leads the Knicks with 29 and 11; Harrington and Robinson score 19 apiece; Tim Thomas explodes for 17, and Duhon gets a 10 and 10 doubler.
Pacers lose another gut-wrencher, this time in--are you ready for this?--Washington...Caron Butler recovered from the flu in time to go for 35 and 13 and the game winner, too; Call Me Antoine scored 34, and Nick Young netted 20; Danny Granger managed 29, 5 and 5 on a leg and a half; T.J. Ford added 23 and 7 dimes; Murphy had another 18 and 10 doubler, and Jarrett Jack scored 16. Pacers lost Dunleavy again with the same right knee that cost him 34 games to start the season.
Hornets come back on T-Wolves in New Orleans--somebody named Sean Marks scored 18 points, had five boards, and came up big late to thwart Minnesota...Casual Rasual had 23 and 8; David West got ejected in the second for a flagrant-2; Peja was 2-for-11 from the floor; Iron Man went for 25 and 14 but may have done his knee with 30 seconds left in the game, and Gomes went 5-for-6 from long distance for 21 points. Could be bad for my fantasy team, which includes both Jefferson and West.
Thunder flirt with loss, hold on against Kings in Okieland--Kevin Durant is awesome again, with 39, 7 and 4; Green and Collison go for 15 apiece, and Krstic sticks 14 from the bench; Beno "Get A Nickname" Udrih blows up with 29 and 6; Kevin Martin and John Salmons go for 23 each, with Salmons adding 11 boards...Sacramento had a clean look at the game-tying trey, but Garcia could not convert.
Suns shade Pistons at the Palace--Nash goes bonkers with 15 points and 21 dimes; Shaq adds 20 and 10, Barbosa comes off the bench for 17, and "Stat" adds 18 and 7; Rip leads Detroit again with 27 off the bench, Bad Chemistry adds 25 and 7 dimes, Rasheed gets 16 and 10 without a technical. Nash had 21 assists; Detroit had 19.
Warriors run past Jazz in Oakland--Maggette leads with 24; Captain Jack adds 20, 10 and 8, Azubuike nets 16 and 6, and Crunch Time provides 14 and 5 assists off the bench; Deron Williams goes for 31, 10 dimes and 6 turnovers; Okur, off my fantasy roster this week, bags 21 and 9, and C.J. Miles adds 10 and 7.
