My 2009 new years resolution was to get more involved in the Seattle community. I contacted the Seattle PI with the hopes of starting a fashion blog that focused specifically on Seattle fashion. The goal was to cover local fashion events, and to provide honest critiques on “all things fashion” in Seattle. The PI agreed, and Fashion Factory blog was born.

The Seattle PI was the beginning of me getting involved. Soon thereafter, I applied to be the Style Tips Examiner for the Seattle Examiner. Though it hasn’t been long, I must leave the Seattle Examiner.

Back in June, I was offered a position in San Francisco, working for the Symphony. Since then I have accepted the position and relocated to San Francisco. As much as I would love to continue covering fashion news in Seattle, my "home turf" has changed, and I will be focusing on getting involved in my new community, San Francisco.  

I strongly encourage those of you who truly love fashion to get involved. As we learned from some of this past year’s events, there is a lot of room for Seattle to grow. In some sense, Seattle is like a young teenager, with much potential. However, like all teenagers, structure, organization, and positive influences are needed in order to foster positive growth.

While getting establish in San Francisco, I will still be writing for La Boudoir blog. Do check in from time to time.
