Dr. Horowitz versus Dr. Oz on the flu vaccinations, u tube videos that give you a video response to Dr. Oz's TV program on flu vaccinations. Part 3 of 3.

Do your research and make up your own mind. Dr. Oz is pro-vaccination for the flu. Dr. Len Horowitz is anti-vaccination. Each doctor presents his case to the public. Consider both sides, and make up your own mind based on your own health issues. See the article, "H1N1 flu vaccine danger minimal, but might not be necessary for you." According to this article, "Only a “handful” of physicians challenge H1N1 flu vaccine safety. An informal poll of 100 physicians, conducted by the staff of the Early Show, found that 91 physicians would recommend H1N1 flu vaccine to their patients, and only 9 said they would not due to hesitation about the safety of H1N1 flu vaccine."

The article by by Kathleen Blanchard RN published online on the Emax Health site, on Oct 29th, 2009, resports that, "Pregnant women are still encouraged to get the H1N1 flu vaccine. A recent review of the risks and benefits of H1N1 flu vaccine show that pregnant women are more at risk from not taking the vaccine."

The article also reports that, according to an October 27, 2009 release from the FDA, “Studies of several thousand pregnant women in the scientific literature have shown that inactivated seasonal influenza vaccines are safe during pregnancy. They have shown no evidence for harm to pregnant women, the pregnancy or to newborns of vaccinated women. In addition, FDA and CDC’s routine monitoring of adverse events has not raised safety concerns”. Pregnant women should receive H1N1 flu vaccine as well as seasonal flu vaccine."

The are doctors for and against the flu vaccine. According to that article, "H1N1 flu vaccine safety is challenged by some physicians – but not the majority. The vaccine has been produced hastily, but not any differently than season flu vaccine. We have had mixed messages about the dangers of H1N1 flu, which is mild for most, but for some H1N1 flu can be deadly. The H1N1 flu vaccine has been on a fast track toward production. The fact that the government has granted legal immunity to vaccine makers has also made many uneasy."

That's why you have to do your own research. Online it's the Wild West out there. However, some sites and physicians have done their research and present you with facts, details, or ingredients (or mention the lack of ingredients on labels).

Some websites tell you to stop worrying about the flu. But you can't tell that to a parent whose children have died from the novel flu. Separate facts from hype. View the article, "CDC downplays risk from swine flu vaccine - Swine flu- msnbc.com." A Washington official says the risks from not getting the swine flu vaccine are greater than any potential risks associated with the vaccine.

Websites touting th dangers of vaccination for various flu viruses in numerous years abound on the Internet. For example, see the article, "A serious concern: Alzheimer's Disease," that links certain flu shots from decades ago to Alzheimers. According to the article, "Hugh Fudenberg, MD, an immunogeneticist and biologist with nearly 850 papers published in peer review journals, has reported that if an individual had five consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied), his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's Disease is ten times higher than if they had zero, one, or two shots.[vii]"

"Dr. Boyd Haley, Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky, Lexington has done extensive research in the area of mercury toxicity and the brain. Haley’s research has established a likely connection between mercury toxicity and Alzheimer’s disease. [viii] In a paper published in collaboration with researchers at University of Calgary, Haley stated that “seven of the characteristic markers that we look for to distinguish Alzheimer's disease can be produced in normal brain tissues, or cultures of neurons, by the addition of extremely low levels of mercury.”[ix] "

"Does this prove that the mercury contained in the influenza shot can be directly linked to Alzheimer’s? No, absolutely not. But further research in this area is critically needed because the absence of proof is not the “proof of absence.”[x]"

Here is the swine flu vaccine dangers list, according to the Celebgalz.com list.

Swine Flu Dangers List. Do any of these situations apply to your health issues? How many of these statements have been proven scientifically and validated? Where do you find such facts?

1) The dangers of swine flu are exaggerated and the vaccine shot may not be necessary.

2) A person with underlying medical conditions faces bigger dangers even with swine flu vaccine jab.

3) Not all flu illnesses are caused by swine flu and the vaccine is unnecessary when the illness wasn’t even due to swine flu.

4) The swine flu vaccine immunity is temporary. If you get swine flu and recover, you will get long lasting natural immunity. The dangers of the vaccine are that you are prevented from acquiring natural antibodies.

5) Some people have natural immunity against swine flu as they were exposed to various old flu strains. These folks have acquired antibodies in the immune system.

6) Children who get the swine flu vaccine will not develop natural antibodies.

7) The alerts for the swine flu pandemic are higher than in reality. Presently, the WHO has declared a phase 6 alert while the public health doctors use the EUA code. The phase 6 alert is the equivalent of the U.S. Homeland Security’s Code Red warning of an expected terrorist attack.

Swine Flu vaccines are experimental. The dangers of swine flu vaccines are not fully known.

9) States in the US exercise differing laws when dealing with quarantine and vaccination. Each state has different public health laws. You may or may not be required to receive swine flu vaccine. Read more at www.nvic.org

10) The swine flu pandemic is a disease outbreak and thus a matter that is under the jurisdiction of the Homeland Security, Department of Defense, and the CDC. Every citizen faces the risks of disobeying the law or potentially causing harm to oneself if forced to get the swine flu vaccine.

11) The drug companies make money by promoting the swine flu vaccines. There are dangers that self serving companies maybe advocating the vaccine to benefit their own pockets.

12) UK doctors suggested there might be a link between the 25 deaths in the 1970s and the immunization program that was on-going at that time. UK doctors warn about the connection between fatal nerve brain diseases and immunization. Details.

CBS News medical correspondent, US doctor Dr Jennifer Ashton, acknowledged that swine flu vaccine could cause GBS or Guillian-Barre Syndrome. The risk is very low, probably one in one million. There is a long explanation on how a vaccine can weaken the nerves. Some people don’t recover from this. Read here.

Please refer to your state laws and consult your doctor.
