Natural Wellness TV is gaining ground on USA TV channels, particularly on channel 9575, Dish Satellite Network. Genesis Networks developed a solution that allowed Natural Wellness to originate content in its own offices. Content is created in Dallas and other regions of the country, files are then sent to Genesis Networks.

The networks compiles those files and manage them into a playlist, and then the network distributes that playlist out to multiple points via satellite. The viewer experiences seamless 24/7 programming that appears to be originating from the company’s own studios, not from a playlist that was actually compiled at Genesis Networks.

This India-based broadcaster wanted to launch a new English-language health and wellness channel in US markets; it would be called Natural Wellness. This channel needed to appear as it if it were its own US-based entity, with no direct connection to ZeeTV. Thus, Natural Wellness needed a partner who could provide a total turnkey solution: serving as the origination point, managing all content received, building content into a playlist and cost-effectively distributing it to the US cable marketplace.

In the USA, the vegetarian and natural/alternative health solutions TV channel is called Veria. At the Veria television progam on Dish Satellite Network, there are 24 hours of broadcasting of 17 different how-to shows on natural health and healing, nutrition, vegetarian cooking, and essential oils aromatherapy recipes. For example, Backyard Boomers  shows the viewer how to garden and plant vegetables, herbs, and other plants for making natural foods.

Natural Wellness continues to gain traction in US markets. According to the Veria site,  "Veriapedia, Veria's encyclopedia of natural health, compliments these programs and insights by providing unique content written by worldwide experts in the areas of healthy living and a natural lifestyle, traditional physical disciplines (yoga), and alternative medicines."

Readers are guided with articles, tips, and techniques on how to achieve and maintain a healthy living and a natural lifestyle." Veria's recipe Web page features offers recipes seen on their cooking shows, such as "Chasing the Yum" on Thai cooking, Naturally Delicious, Simply Beautiful, The Sweet Truth, What a Relief, and What's Brewing. Click on the videos at the Sweet Truth site for actual how-to steps on on how to make sweets without using sugar or artificial sweeteners. These videos are great for people battling sugar addiction.

Watch the videos on the Everybody Nose site to learn step-by-step how to mix essential oils for various aromatherapy recipes such as what oils to mix for helping those with a cold or other issues. It's great to be able to watch these videos any hour of the day or night in case you don't have Dish network satellite TV with this station.

Just click on the brief video clips at the site. This one show has ten pages of short video clips to watch online.  The Fed Up site offers numerous recipes, such as almond butter balls. The good news is that you can save the recipes in your computer as pdf files. Look at the East Asian recipes on Chasing the Yum. You can download the recipes or watch the video clips at the site online. View the free videos and recipes which you can save as pdf files for the Naturally Delicious vegetarian cooking show.

The TV station is on seven days a week, 24 hours a day with numerous programs and half-hour shows. Numerous how-to shows are online for you to watch or download the recipes, but on the TV station, there are many more such that repeat weekly such as Bedside Manor, where a naturopathic physician and a conventional medical doctor debate with each other on conventional versus naturopathic treatments for various ailments.

To look at Veria's brief video clip on eating disorders, for example, from the Bedside Manor show. The recipes are excellent on the site, but many of the video clips are too short, and the solution is to watch the half-hour show on TV if and when it repeats. To watch it, though, you need to get in on Dish Satellite Network or find out whether Veria TV is on your cable station by asking your station. Otherwise, the online site has recipes for each of its shows online and free.

For more information, check out the  Genesis Networks site or the Veria site.
