Season 9: The Biggest Loser updates casting call cities for open auditions

NBC's The Biggest Loser announced open casting call cities for season 9 last week with details for four of the cities TBA (to be announced). Three of the four locations are now known. Newly announced open auditions will be held at the following dates and places. A complete and updated listing of all times, dates and locations can be found at The Biggest Loser casting website.

The most recent winner of The Biggest Loser (Season 7) was Helen Phillips of Michigan who won the $250,000 grand prize after losing 140 pounds, which was nearly 54.5% of her body weight. Contestants for season 9 must be at least 18 years old by September 21, 2009.

Due to the popularity of the show, producers expect large crowds for the open auditions. The Biggest Loser website makes the following statements to and asks for the following conditions from prospective contestants:

• Please do not line up more than 3 hours before the open call start time
• We will do our best to see the first 500 people in line
• If you cannot attend an open call you may submit an application and tape with your partner at thebiggestlosercasting.com
• If you do not have a partner, you may audition on your own
