The Bell Museum located on the University of Minnesota campus, is the perfect place for families to learn about the natural world.

If you've been to the Bell before, you probably remember the glass cases of dioramas exhibiting various animals and birds from Minnesota. You might also remember that they have a touch and see room where kids can get up close by touching a turtle or wearing a set of antlers or perhaps you have even sent your kids to one of their summer discovery day camps.

But there is even more happening for families especially this summer. Here are some highlights:

View from the current exhibits:

  • Wolves and  Wild Lands in the 21st Century (now through Oct 4) Spectacular Photography by Jim Brandenburg shares the exhibit space. This exhibit was put together by the International Wolf Center in Ely.
