Halloween Carnival

St. Anthony-New Brighton’s ECFE Parent Advisory Council is hosting the annual Halloween carnival. Admission is $3.50 per child at the door and includes six activity tickets. Parents attend free of charge. Proceeds from the carnival support St. Anthony school district’s early childhood programs.

Halloween Trick or Treating on Johnson Street N.E.
Participating Johnson Street Merchants will be handing out treats between 5 -6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31st between 28th Ave & 29th Ave NE in Minneapolis.
NE Urban 4-H Club & the Salvation Army is sponsoring a Red Cross Halloween Blood Drive
9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army, 2727 Central Ave. NE.
PARENTS consider donating blood this Halloween and after your donation, receive a treat from the NE Urban 4-H Club youth (dressed in a goulish costume) You can make an appointment by going on line to www.givebloodgivelife.org.
Spooky Stories, Creepy Creations: A Halloween Writing and Bookmaking Workshop for Youth

Minnesota Center for Book Arts & The Loft Literary Center
For students in Grades 2-5
Write a short, spooky story, and then construct a ghoulish accordion book for your work. Show off your work at an informal reception with Halloween treats. Costumes encouraged! A presentation and reception will begin at 11:30 am.

Westminster Presbyterian Church presents a special event benefiting THE GROVELAND FOOD SHELF.
All proceeds will go to the Groveland food shelf which is located in Plymouth congregational Church in downtown Minneapolis. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Westminster Church Sunday mornings beginning October 11, or the day of the show at the Heights box-office.
