Although Commerce Casino only needs about 550 players to register on Day 1c in order to make the guarantee, one can easily expect treble that amount to take a shot at hitting the big one.  The entire ball room is expected to be elbow to elbow, standing room only for those procrastinators who find themselves waiting to take a seat as an alternate.

At 5:00 p.m. today, registration closes and the tournament staff will begin calculating the final pay out structure.  Today is the day that the day that the total prize pool will be announced, and this poker writer is taking the over on $600K. You can expect to see me among the masses of poker players determined to make the final cut.

Commerce Casino is located at 6131 East Telegraph Rd., Commerce, CA 90040, just off the Santa Ana (5) Freeway at the Washington Blvd. exit. The phone is (323) 721-2100
