PM Netanyahu itemized the thousands of grenades, rockets, and other weaponry in the cargo that he said originated in Iran, sent from the port of Bandar Abbas, and was destined for Hizbullah.  One of my readers was skeptical about that claim, so here is evidence.

The munitions had Iranian markings.  Israel said it had a document stating the cargo’s origin as Iran.  Final destination was Syria.  These are not the kinds of weapons Syria uses but which Syria transfers to Hizbullah.

Iran has been arming Hizbullah for years, but denies it.

The rockets would be fired at civilian cities.  That would be a war crime, which Iran and Syria are abetting.  Arming Hizbullah violates a mandatory Security Council Resolution, too.  PM Netanyahu suggests that the UN take up these real violations and not Israel’s imaginary ones  (www.imra.org.il, 11/5 & http://www.israelnationalnews.com/  Arutz-7, 11/6).

Would Iran care to suggest who else has been arming Hizbullah so copiously?
