Iran warned Saudi Arabia not to fingerprint pilgrims arriving from Iran.  Why, that treats them as terrorists, criminals.  If S. Arabia persists, then Iran would fingerprint Saudi visitors  (www.imra.org.il, 11/4).

 

I recall that at more than one pilgrimage to Mecca, Iranian visitors violated the rules and used the pilgrimage as cover for subversive activities.
