King Abdullah of Jordan hosted an international conference on Jerusalem.  “The conference also comes within Jordan's efforts to safeguard Islamic and

Christian sites in Jerusalem at a time when Israel seeks to Judaize the holy

city and obliterate its history and culture.”  (www.imra.org.il, 10/3).

Jordan is recognized as having rights over the mosque on the Temple Mount.  It’s safeguarding of Christian sites is odd, considering that after Jordan seized the Old City of Jerusalem, it increasingly imposed restrictions on Christians and their access to holy sites.

During the period of Jordanian control, Jordan’s king never visited the mosque or the Old City, and let trash accumulate all around the Temple Mount, impeding access to it.

Israel does not obscure the history of Jerusalem.  Israelis relate the full history of the City, most of which is non-Muslim.  The Muslims ignore or pretend the Jewish millennia did not exist.  The Muslims often do what they accuse Israel of.
