Baltimore Band Examiner Jeff Schad is is giving readers a chance to win two tickets to tonight's concert at the Black Cat, featuring Mittenfields, We Were Pirates, and Vox Pop.
To enter in the contest, all readers have to do is post a comment about their favorite live experiences at the Black Cat. Schad reserves the right to pick his favorite based on a number of reasons, though he hints, "Personal moments of musical enlightenment eloquently explained are always a good start."
The night promises to be a showcase of local talent, as all three bands hail from the District. Tomorrow's concert also doubles as a CD release party for We Were Pirates, as they celebrate their second LP, Cutting Ties.
