Anyone who is anyone in the fashion business would love the new show on Bravo TV aptly titled "The Fashion Show". Hey, even if you have nothing to do with fashion, but enjoy a good competition, then this is the show for you. It debuted with the first season starting a couple of months ago and is sure to go on for at least a few more seasons. It's a show, slightly reminiscent of "Glam God, with Vivica A. Fox" and "Project Runway", about a dozen designers/stylists from across the globe who are vying for the the chance of their careers. Each week the designers are put to the challenge by having to style a complete outfit from scratch based on a specific theme, and watch their creations come to life as they are worn by models down the runway in a real fashion show. Last week's theme was "mean girls", as each contestant had to style garments based on cliques in high school, i.e, jocks, nerds, skaters etc. Each week, the person with the worst design is sent home. Designer Angel, from Indiana, had the theme hip-hop and failed miserably and was sent packing.

The "Fashion Show" is hosted by fashion mogul Isaac Mizrahi and R&B singer Kelly Rowland, and airs every Thursday at 10pm pacific. The show is full of drama as the contestants are always racing against time to create the perfect look, only to have their imagery talked about and even laughed at. Designers Recco and Haven never fall short with giving the cameras what they are looking for by getting into arguments over whose designs are best. Recco is very confident and seems to always have fine details to his garments and even manages to finish ahead of the allotted time. I'm sure he will be in the top 3, if his attitude doesn't get him eliminated. Viewers can even vote each week as to whose designs are truly the best, and the designer who wins the best look will have an outfit styled from their design.
