Former model David Lindwall has taken fashion into his own hands. He was part of the lanky adolescence era that marked a model's life before runway walking and label wearing. Clothes were ill fitting and marked by high-water pants and cropped jackets. These looks impelled David to create his own line of clothes following a stint at J. Lindeberg. Swede launched an eponymous T-shirt line with an aesthetic he describes as "a brick flying through the window of Barneys."
His enigmatic graphics are inspired by mathematical equations in vintage textbooks. "Before a print makes the cut, I paint it on canvas to make sure it works, right down to each letter and line," he says. "I realize I'm probably a prime example of OCD."
