As Michael Jackson's memorial and autopsy findings loom, searches for the Michael Jackson death photo are making Web buzz again today. Though some individuals may be prematurely looking for casket, memorial or even autopsy photos, this picture, -- which a form of appeared on the cover of OK! Magazine last week and was published here the day Michael Jackson died -- earned the reputation as the now famous 'Michael Jackson death photo.'
While some writers claim to be appalled or mystified at what is deemed a morbid fascination, curiosity about death is natural. It is especially intriguing when a celebrity is involved. Hence searches for death photos are commonplace.
Any day there is a fatal accident on the freeway gives testament to this fact. As for the Michael Jackson death photo, it is obviously unflattering but it offers a rare glimpse into the last minutes of the King of Pop's life.

It seems like a long time ago that the following was reported, when the last public photo of Michael Jackson first appeared:
"Michael Jackson died today and this photo of the pop star on a stretcher has been released (below). Entertainer Michael Jackson died today from a heart attack early reports state about the King of Pop. A coroner pronounced Jackson dead at 2:26 p.m today at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles."
