Big (but not quite as big!) Elvis.
I am constantly being asked about FREE shows on the Las Vegas Strip! With the economy in it’s present mess there are more and more visitors who have managed to scrape up the funds for their annual visit but are stretched to find additional dollars to keep themselves entertained during their stay. Vegas has always offered free lounge acts to keep us entertained between major shows but these are slowly disappearing!
Those of us who have lived in Las Vegas for the past 7 or more years will have noticed the changing ownership of what is now Bill’s Gaming Hall (Previously the Barbary Coast) on the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. One thing that hasn’t changed is however the great talent of their resident performer Big Elvis (Peter Vallee).
The same however can’t be said about his weight! In the last two years he has lost an amazing 560 lbs!
Whether you are a lover of Elvis or not, you will thoroughly enjoy this amazing man and his music.
Resident in the lounge of what is currently Bill’s, Peter sings his heart out Monday to Friday at 3, 5 and 6.30 pm and thanks to the management the shows continue to be free.
This true ‘Hunk of burning Love’ sang his heart out to the more than enthusiastic crowd for over an hour during my visit and left everyone wanting more. (There wasn’t an empty seat!) As my partner and I sat at the slot machines making our nightly donation to the Las Vegas economy, 30 minutes later we heard Peter start up all over again. This man is a non stop dynamo and sings all your Elvis favorites.
His co-star is Chuck Rawlings, a first class singer/entertainer in his own right and deserving of his own write up, which I’m happy to provide.
Parking under cover at Bill’s is simple and available I might add! The only down side of this great family show is that this is a casino lounge and is restricted to minimum age 21 visitors.
You WILL enjoy Big Elvis!
