Andrew David King

Andrew David King, junior at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, California, was recently awarded First Place in the National Catholic Essay competition sponsored by DeSales University in Pennsylvania. DeSales University respectfully holds this annual essay competition in order to showcase excellence in high school writing that reflects a wide-range of Catholic thought. King composed a hard-hitting essay entitled “Principles and Practice: The Dilemma of Faith versus Politics”, an honest piece targeted toward the religious and/or political among us who may need some fresh perspective.
