Father's Day is around the corner. You may consider getting your dad some Christian fiction this year.

Statistics say that over 90% of Christian fiction readers are women, but there are a lot of good books out there for men, too. Here is a sample list of some authors who write with men in mind:

•  Matt Bronleewe – Treasure hunt stories along the lines of National Treasure
• Sigmund Brouwer – Variety including historical, futuristic, and suspense
• John Olson – Variety including thrillers, suspense, and treasure hunt
• Frank Peretti – Supernatural thrillers
• Robert Liparulo – Local author who writes thrillers, mysteries, and special ops
• Athol Dickson – Variety, including mysteries, suspense, and speculative fiction
• Alton Gansky – Variety including speculative fiction, military, and mysteries
• Ted Dekker – Fantasy, thrillers, mysteries
• Randy Alcorn –Variety including Police drama, and supernatural
• James Scott Bell – Suspense and legal drama
• Eric Wilson – Check his website, they look a bit hard to define
• Brandt Dodson – Police Drama, suspense
• Travis Thrasher – Suspense
• Mike Dellosso – Suspense
• Stuart Vaughn Stockton – Fantasy
• Gilbert Morris – Historical
• Jack Cavanaugh – Historical, suspense
• Charles Martin – General, Literary
• Stephen R. Lawhead –  Stories about Robin Hood, King Arthur, etc
